MiLB Announces May Players and Pitchers of the Month

The Cardinals, together with the Battlehawks, Blues & CITY S.C., announced that they will unite to raise funds for tornado recovery in St. Louis during a special broadcast on FanDuel Sports Network w/ support from Anheuser-Busch.

The Cardinals return home to Busch Stadium for a season-long 9-game homestand starting w/ a 3-game Interleague series with the Royals (June 3-5), followed by a 3-game weekend series vs the defending World Series champion Dodgers (June 6-8), & concluding with 3-games against the Blue Jays (June 9-11).

The Cardinals come home with a split on the road last week; they took 2 of 3 from the Orioles while dropping 2 of 3 to the Rangers. Not only did they struggle against Texas, a lot of the progress they made leading up to the series disappeared with a -15 run differential

Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™) today announced the 2025 Dominican Summer League (DSL) season will begin June 2 w/ Opening Day festivities taking place at the Red Sox Academy. The ’25 campaign will also see the introduction of the DSL Cup, a new playoff format.

The Cardinals cooled off a little bit over the last week, but they’re still playing pretty well overall. They dropped 2 of 3 to the Tigers, which might be worrisome any other year, before sweeping the D’backs. They also dropped the 1st game to Baltimore in their 3 game series thanks to Dylan Carlson.

The Cardinals picked up 2 more series this past week, taking 2 of out 3 from both the Phillies and Royals. As opposed to the sweeps the previous week again the Pirates and Nationals, these 2 teams are in the early playoff picture.

The Cardinals and Tums are teaming up to bring back the Kickoff to Summer discount ticket promotion for over 35 games Busch Stadium this summer.

The Cardinals are back at Busch Stadium to open a 6-game homestand starting with a 3-game Interleague series with the Tigers (May 19-21), followed by 3 games against the Diamondbacks (May 23-25).

The big league club was off yesterday, but all the affiliates played (and not well). 4 system games tonight. There were a couple of system transactions and some former Cardinal news.
