ONE-OF-A-KIND ‘TURN 2 WITH OZZIE’ FAN EXPERIENCE RETURNS TO BUSCH STADIUM

Event Gives Fans Unique Opportunity to Receive On-Field Demonstration and Turn Double Plays with 13-Time Gold Glove Winner & Hall of Fame Shortstop Ozzie Smith

ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 18, 2023 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that registration for the one-of-a-kind “Turn Two with Ozzie” on-field fan experience at Busch Stadium is now open at cardinals.com/ozzie.

Turn 2 With Ozzie Smith

As part of the hour-long experience, fans will receive an up-close fielding demonstration by National Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith on the Busch Stadium infield, followed by the unique opportunity to turn two double plays with the 13-time Gold Glove shortstop and another Cardinals alum. Each participant will have their experience captured by a Cardinals team photographer with photos accessible afterwards via an online gallery.

In addition, each person will receive a pre-signed, autographed baseball by Ozzie, as well as an individual photo standing next to “The Wizard” and a voucher for two tickets to a 2023 Cardinals home game.

“We are excited to bring this unique fan experience with Ozzie Smith back for 2023,” said Cardinals Director of Account Services and Alumni Relations, Joe Pfeiffer.  “For anyone who grew up watching Ozzie’s unparalleled defensive wizardry, this event offers a once-in-lifetime chance to live out their dream of taking the infield with one of the greatest shortstops in baseball history.”

Four one-hour sessions are available for registration on both Friday, May 26, and Monday, July 31. Registration is $510 and will be limited for each session. Registrants must be 10 years or older to participate.

Fans can register and learn more about the Turn Two with Ozzie experience at cardinals.com/ozzie.

When will the July 31 open up to register?

The website doesn’t say. I’m guessing after the May session. You might have to reach out to the Cardinals to find out for sure.
