ST. LOUIS – FanDuel Sports Network has added the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Miami Marlins Spring Breakout game to its Spring Training broadcast schedule with father and son, Chip and Stefan Caray, to call the game together for the first time.

Cardinals and Marlins minor league prospects will play against each other in the showcase game in Jupiter, Florida on Friday, March 14 at 11:10 a.m. CT.

“The Spring Breakout is a blast,” said Chip Caray. “The games are so fun and are an exciting preview of baseball’s bright future and a reminder of when we all were starting our baseball dreams. To be asked to work with my really talented son, Stefan, and see his career starting at the same time is a wonderful honor and a dream come true for our entire family.”

Chip Caray is beginning his third season as the Cards play-by-play announcer on FanDuel Sports Network. His son, Stefan Caray, was the play-by-play broadcaster for the Amarillo Sod Poodles, a Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, from 2022-24.

Last season on April 13, Chip called the Cardinals vs. Oakland A’s game from a neighboring broadcast booth where one of his other sons and Stefan’s twin brother, Chris Caray, was calling the game for NBC Sports California.

The Spring Breakout telecast on FanDuel Sports Network will be available throughout the Cardinals television footprint. For Cardinals fans living in the outer market, the game will be streamed on MLB apps and websites.
