Filmed June 26, 2025, inside the Museum’s Clive Davis Theater, the special event took place on the eve of Tech N9ne’s most personal album to date, 5816 Forest. The evening offered fans a rare opportunity to experience the Kansas City icon in an intimate setting, part deep-dive conversation, part behind-the-music storytelling, and part live performance.

Moderated by award-winning journalist, television producer, and content director Justin Hunte, the conversation traced Tech’s journey from his emotional teenage years that inspired 5816 Forest, to the founding of Strange Music with Travis O’Guin in 1999, to his unique creative process and production approach.

Following the candid discussion, the Clive Davis Theater transformed from a seated venue into a high-energy, standing-room-only hip-hop show, where Tech N9ne delivered an explosive set that included fan favorites “Erbody But Me,” “E.B.A.H.,” and “Red Kingdom.”

This exclusive presentation highlights why Tech N9ne remains one of the most respected and genre-defying figures in hip-hop as he continues to push artistic boundaries while staying true to his roots.
