Reminder: The Switch 2 pre-orders have been delayed in the U.S. and Canada but the release date remains June 5th across the board as of initial publication.

How to set up alerts for Nintendo Switch 2 At Nintendo:

Nintendo has set up an alert system for Nintendo Switch 2 on their website for Nintendo account holders currently living in Canada and the U.S. Anyone can sign up for these alerts and invitations will be given on a first-come first-served basis and will be sent out to people who fit these requirements first:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a Nintendo Switch Online membership with a minimum total of 12 months of membership
• Must have a minimum of 50 total hours of gameplay as of April 2, 2025

The first batch of invitations will be sent out May 8, 2025 and will be valid for 72 hours.
