Poolside Glitter Punks HAYLEY AND THE CRUSHERS’ Announce Modern Adult Kicks Tour
“There’s a palpable temptation for me to label ‘She Drives’, plus Hayley and the Crushers, a throwback to ’90s rockers like The Muffs or Sleater-Kinney, but that would imply that female-led punk-inspired rock bands with a fondness or catchy earworms don’t exist in the modern day. They absolutely do, and if you need a new one to latch on to, Hayley and the Crushers are just waiting for you to discover them.” – Far Out Magazine
“If there was one particular band that almost saved 2020, it was Hayley and the Crushers. This band had my #2 album and my #2 single of the year in addition to releasing the awesome “Church of Flag” single earlier this month. This was certainly not the happiest year, but there’s always hope when you take up residence in the Crusherverse.” – Lord Rutledge, Faster and Louder
“San Luis Obispo’s Hayley & the Crushers come at you with a wallop and a wink, churning out old-school, sweet/tart power-pop while dressed like they’d found the thrift store you’ve been looking for your whole life.” – Buzzbands
“Like a Sour Patch Kid, Hayley & the Crushers are unapologetically bright and fun, with a wallop of mischief.” – BUST Magazine
“The naked embodiment of power pop punk!” – Josie Cotton

JULY 28, 2022 (Detroit, MI) — Hot off the heels from making the move from California to Detroit, power trio Hayley and the Crushers have announced their Modern Adult Kicks tour. Kicking off in Fort Wayne, IN on September 23, the tour will feature Wicked Cool Recording Artist Soraia as a co-headliner for select shows and will visit Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Nashville, Detroit and more before concluding on November 26 in Los Angeles.
Helmed by husband-and-wife team guitarist Hayley Crusher Cain and bass player Dr. Cain ESQ (with Action Ben Cabreana on drums), the band have already released three previous singles on Kitten Robot Records since last Spring’s label signing: June 2021’s moody anti-ballad (“Cul De Sac“), August’s fizzy, light-hearted summer fun (“She Drives“), and November’s tongue-in-cheek punk pit-starter (“Click and Act Now!“). The tracks were produced by legendary punk producer Paul Roessler (TSOL, Josie Cotton, Richie Ramone) at Robot Kitten Studios in LA and mastered by Mass Giorgini (Anti-Flag, Rise Against, Alkaline Trio) at Sonic Iguana Studios.
San Luis Obispo-to-Detroit transplants, Hayley and the Crushers have been offering up a tsunami of bold, bad girl fun over the last couple of years. Adding to their “Crusherverse” which includes their 2018 offical debut album (Cool/Lame), 2020’s sohphmore album (Vintage Millennial), and two EP’s (2020’s Jacaranda and 2021’s Fun Sized), and the band’s first full-length album on Kitten Robot will be announced shortly.
