This Week on Marvel Unlimited: 09/20/2021
Welcome back to TWOMU, even though it’s late this week (I realized it this morning when I sat down to start reading). I also noticed that Sunday didn’t have new books; they came Monday like normal. I’ll chalk last week up to the new app. This week, we get more of the big storylines (Heroes Reborn, Hellfire Gala, War of the Bounty Hunters), more Infinity Comics, and a Venom Milestone.

Best of Last Week:
Children of the Atom #4 – This book isn’t progressing as quickly as I’d like. It cool getting a different perspective every issue, but the stories aren’t that memorable. Hopefully that changes with this cliffhanger.
Excalibur #21 – Meh. The team heads to the Hellfire Gala only to learn that the Prime Minister of England is siding with the Coven Akkaba, who is bringing back Morgan Le Fay. The only part I liked was Shatterstar confronting Rictor, since that was tied to Peter David’s X-Factor.
It’s Jeff Infinity Comic #1 – This was the first Infinity Comic I’ve read, and it took a minute to really get into it; it was mainly because instead of scrolling side to side like most comics, this goes up and down. The story was a fun and a quick read, but nothing that will impact the larger universe. I’ll give a few more a shot this week.
Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #13 – Valance and Dengar continue to reluctantly work together to find out why there is a bounty on Boba Fett and where Han Solo is. They run into Chewie and C-3PO, which slows them down since both have a history with the Wookie. I didn’t feel like this did much to push the overall story along.
X-Men #21 – The new X-Men lineup is revealed at the Gala. It’s the main thing from the story that mattered. It’s wasn’t a bad issue, just not that memorable.
Don’t forget, the Krakoa Mutant Tracker is (supposed to be, but not right now) updated weekly as new books come to Marvel Unlimited.
