This Week on Marvel Unlimited: 09/13/2021

Welcome back to TWOMU. You might have been shocked to find some changes to the Marvel Unlimited app this past week; not only did they change the interface, they also started loading new books on Sunday and pushing their infinity books. They also got rid of the hot books and added a few new sections, including recommendations, Stormbreaker’s, and the ability to link your Insider account. I will say it sucks they got rid of the hot books, but the new look is slick.

Best of Last Week:
Hellions #12 – The Hellions crash the Hellfire Gala and hilarity ensues. There are some good character moments between Psylocke and Greycrow, a reunion between Wild Child and Aurora, and Nanny gets drunk. It’s was another good issue of one of the best X-books around.

Marauders #21 – The Marauders to most of the heavy work on the Hellfire Gala story; you get most of the representatives of the world coming to Krakoa for this summit/party. It jumped around a lot, but the other books are filling in the gaps. It was a good book, but not the best they’ve put out.

Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters #1 – Boba Fett doesn’t have the carbonited Han Solo any more, but we learn who stole him. We also get Fett vs Zuckuss and 4-LOM, Valance and Dengar continue their pursuit of Fett and Solo, and a mystery reveal that was awesome (unfortunately I knew who it was already).

X-Force #20 – While most mutants are enjoying the Hellfire Gala, X-Force is providing security. Kid Omega, Wolverine and Domino are the muscle. Sage is in the heart of Krakoa. Beast is playing another deadly game, continuing his downward descent. I never knew that I needed a meeting between Tony Stark and Kid Omega. The book was worth reading for that alone.

Don’t forget, the Krakoa Mutant Tracker is (supposed to be, but not right now) updated weekly as new books come to Marvel Unlimited.
