The 2017 MLB Prospect Ranking Tracker

Each year, I track prospect rankings to help create my own rankings. I’ve thrown them in spreadsheets for years, but decided that this year I would publish them.

The below document has a tab for each team, an overall (for top 100 overall lists), and a key with the locations of the actual rankings. Each tab contains the following information for each player: average ranking, median ranking, mode, lowest ranking, highest ranking, and the amount of lists they appear on (count).

This will be updated on a semi-regular basis.

If you publish prospect rankings and want them included, send the link here.

Feel free to discuss any rankings below in the comments.

A column on the left that gives the ranking numbers 1 through 100 would sure be helpful to readers, and it’s simple to do in Excel. Thanks for your hard work!

Have you been updating this? I saved this link back in November…
