Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames feels like The Expendables if it were reimagined as an epic fantasy novel, and I mean that as a compliment. The story follows a group of legendary mercenaries who have long since passed their glory days, reuniting for one last impossible mission. It's a familiar setup, but Eames injects it with enough heart, humor, and genuine character development to make it stand out in a crowded fantasy genre.

Remember when #ImageComics launched in the mid-'90s and we got a load of new, edgy characters? Tim Seeley and Tony Fleecs sure do. #LocalMan is their love letter to those comics, and more. #comicbooks #comics #comicreviews
blink-182 might be my favorite band ever. I started listening to them shortly after Dude Ranch came out in the late '90s and never looked back. Add in my love of reading about music, and Fahrenheit-182 was a no brainer to pick up. #music #books #bookreview #musicbook #blink182
I was born in the late 1990's as such my favorite console of the time was the GameCube. I was to young to remember the launch, yet old enough to remember playing the games of the time. One of my personal favorites, was Luigi's Mansion. As such, when it was announced to be coming to NSO, I was ecstatic. #nintendo #luigismansion #nso
I recently finished #TheBladeItself by #JoeAbercrombie, and it lived up to the hype. For those that don't read fantasy, Abercrombie is one of the bigger names writing right now. This was one of the first books of his I tried (I also read #TheDevils pretty much at the same time). #books #fantasy
I love my Nintendo Switch, yet by the end of its life the original Switch had problems. When I heard about the Nintendo Switch 2, I was cautiously optimistic. Could they really recapture the magic of the original while having the power to play current-gen games?

Frank Ryder is the next evolution of MLB pitchers: he's hitting 110 MPH with his fastball. Pretty much every game he starts is a win for the Orioles. But everything isn't as it seems.
