2025 Cardinal Prospect Tracker
The 2025 Cardinal Prospect Tracker is Live

With spring training about to start up, it was time to create the 2025 Cardinal Prospect Tracker, where we rank all of the top prospects in the system according to prospect site rankings. This year, I’m throwing the Top 100 in baseball lists on the tracker so people can see where some of the Cardinals players rank compared to other prospects.
This will be updated constantly through spring training.
Tab one is the key to all the sites; how they show on the lists and links to their sites. Tab 2 is the Top 100 Prospect Rankings; each player will have their individual rankings, but also mathematical indicators, like average, median (the middle ranking), and mode (most frequent ranking). I’m also including their best and worst rankings and the total list they are on. Tab 3 is the Cardinal Prospect Rankings and they’ll be set the same way as Tab 2.
Both Tab 2 and Tab 3 will be sorted by average, then total, then median. This will allow for a better comparison between prospects; if 2 prosects have the same average score, but prospect A is on 10 lists and prospect B is on 5, prospect A will rank better overall.
Quick Notes: One Cardinal list included Luken Baker; a little surprising as I don’t think he qualifies as a rookie (he’s under the 130 at bats, but I believe his service time/days on roster are above the threshold). He’d be 4th on the list if he qualified, but I also think more lists would have included him in the 20s.
Adam Kloffenstein was on The Cardinal Nations initial list; I’ve left him on the overall list, but removed the average, median, etc so he wouldn’t be included in the overall ranking.
Am I missing a list? Are you a prospect ranker? Leave a comment with the link and I’ll get it added.
