Cardinals Announce Details For 2024 Hall Of Fame Weekend

CARDINALS ANNOUNCE DETAILS FOR 2024 HALL OF FAME WEEKEND

Matt Morris, Dave Duncan & Whitey Kurowski To Be Enshrined Saturday, Sept. 7

ST. LOUIS, Mo., August 28, 2024 – The St. Louis Cardinals today announced details surrounding the 2024 Cardinals Hall of Fame Weekend presented by Edward Jones on September 6-8. The weekend will be highlighted by the 10^th annual Cardinals Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony of Matt Morris, Dave Duncan and the late Whitey Kurowski, scheduled for 3:00 PM on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Ballpark Village.

Over a dozen Cards Hall of Famers are scheduled to take part in the Induction Ceremony including Ozzie Smith, Tony La Russa, Ted Simmons, Scott Rolen, Mark McGwire, Willie McGee, Tom Herr, Vince Coleman, Ray Lankford, Jim Edmonds, Jason Isringhausen, Chris Carpenter and José Oquendo.

The Cards Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held outdoors on the Busch II Infield Stage in Together Credit Union Plaza at Ballpark Village. The ceremony is free and open to public. No lawn chairs will be permitted on the plaza grounds.

The Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum will feature a variety of programming on Friday, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 7, including a special Artifact Spotlight presentation and Flashback Friday conversation with new inductees Matt Morris and Dave Duncan hosted by Tom Ackerman in the Together Credit Union Plaza on Friday evening beginning at 5:40 PM.

In addition to those events, the organization will celebrate Hall of Fame Weekend with gate giveaways on all three dates, the Maryville University Walk of Fame plaque presentation on Friday at 6:30 PM, José Oquendo’s Saturday Signing presented by Goodwill at the Cards Museum on Saturday from 10 AM-12 PM, the Cards Hall of Fame Red Jacket Parade immediately following Saturday’s Induction Ceremony, and a special pregame on-field ceremony on Saturday evening.
