International Women’s Day is the perfect time to dedicate a show to some of the amazing music created by women today!” — Jim Edwards Executive Producer/Marketing Director
International Women’s Day takes place on March 8 to celebrate and shine a light on the achievements of women and how far they have come in the fight for their rights within the political, cultural, and social spheres. This year’s theme “Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.” Celebrate women’s achievement.

The New Music Food Truck can be heard worldwide and is currently carried on 31 radio stations, and as a podcast on all major streaming platforms. “The New Music Food Truck is a one-hour weekly new music showcase for alternative and indie music worldwide. As program director at KRXP in Colorado Springs, each week I’d hear fresh new music that I really wanted to play but had no space in my programming to get it on. So along with my brother Jim as producer, we created The New Music Food Truck. It’s a weekly showcase of hot, fresh, new music from around the world in a hip food truck format!” explains Aaron Zytle Host & Program/Music Director.
