Upcoming Beer Events in St. Louis: September

Here are a few different events being hosted by local breweries in September.

ABKick Off Labor Day Weekend at The Biergarten with Bud Light Block Party
Sept 1, 2016; 4:00PM – 7:00PM CST

Summer may be winding down, but the party is just getting started at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten. On Sept. 1, The Biergarten is throwing the Bud Light Block Party to kick off Labor Day weekend and celebrate The Biergarten’s third birthday.

From 4 – 7 p.m., guests can try out the inflatable obstacle course (ages 10 and up), enjoy live music from Griffin and the Gargoyles and play various lawn games. Guests are also invited to bring their dogs to the festivities. The event is free and includes several food and drink specials, such as $2 Bud Lights, $3 pretzel sticks and $5 wings.

Sept 10, 2016; 12:00PM – 4:00PM CST

The 4th Annual Tanglefoot Brewfest is sponsored by the Friends of the Festus Parks. The proceeds from this event have been used to purchase shade structures for the playgrounds in the Festus Parks System and other park and playground improvements. This tasting event will take place in West City Park in Festus, MO in conjunction with the annual Twin City Days celebration between Festus and Crystal City, MO. The beer tasting will include beers from over 30 different breweries with over 50 beers represented. These breweries include Bastard Brothers Brewing, Old Bakery Brewing, Little Egypt Brewery, 4204 Main St, Charleville Microbrewery, Recess Brewing, Ste. Genevieve Brewing, Main and Mill Brewing, Minglewood Brewing, Urban Chestnut, Russell House Brewing, and many, many others. Additionally, local homebrewers will be present offering their unique flavors and beers. Food will be available for purchase.

Recess BrewingRecess Brewing presents Oktoberfest

No Tickets Needed

For the second straight year we will be hosting an Oktoberfest as we release three amazing fall beers. Dr. Dunkelstein (dunkelweizen), E’ville Pumpkin (pumpkin ale), and Klingel Cave (Oktoberfest) will all be making their return during the celebration. There will also be music from the Deutchmeister Brass Band and traditional German food as well. Celebration will occur rain or shine!
