Busch Stadium Homestand Highlights

ST. LOUIS, Mo., June 5, 2024 – The Cardinals are back at Busch Stadium to open a seven-game homestand starting with a four-game weekend series against the Colorado Rockies (June 6-9) followed by three games with the Pittsburgh Pirates (June 11-13).  Fans can view a full list of homestand highlights at cardinals.com/homestand.

TRAFFIC UPDATE:  DRIVERS WHO USE SOUTHBOUND I-55/WESTBOUND I-44 TO LEAVE DOWNTOWN

On June 4, MoDOT closed the entrance ramp from 7th Street to southbound I-55/westbound I-44.  The ramp will remain closed around-the-clock for three weeks.

Drivers can use Park Ave. to Tucker Blvd. as a detour.  They can continue on Gravois Ave. to detour to southbound I-55, or turn onto Lafayette Ave. to detour to the ramp for westbound I-44 (detour routes will be marked).

  • Lou Gehrig Memorial Award Presentation: Paul Goldschmidt will be presented with the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award before the start of tonight’s game.  The award, sponsored by the Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity, is presented annually to a MLB player who best exemplifies the giving character of Lou Gehrig, who was a member of the fraternity’s Columbia University chapter.  Goldschmidt is the 7th member of the Cardinals to win the award following Stan Musial, Ken Boyer, Lou Brock, Ozzie Smith, Mark McGwire and Albert Pujols.
  • Lou Gehrig Day Recognition: To celebrate the fourth annual Lou Gehrig Day, the Cardinals will hold a pregame ceremony recognizing the ALS Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association for the work that they are doing to support those living with ALS.  Fr. Patrick Christopher, who is living with ALS, will be introduced on field and will throw out an honorary first pitch.  Representatives from the Live Like Lou Foundation and Permobil will also be recognized.  The ALS Association will have a tent in Ford Plaza sharing information about ALS and how fans can help support their work and those living with the disease.  Fans can purchase tickets to the June 11 game through a special ticket offer that includes a portion of the proceeds donated back to the ALS Association.  Tickets are available at cardinals.com/ALS.  For more information about the Cardinals Lou Gehrig Day, visit cardinals.com/lougehrig.

2024 MLB ALL-STAR BALLOT – VOTE NOW

Fans can cast their votes for the nine Cardinals players on the 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot presented by BuildSubmarines.com now at cardinals.com/vote or via the MLB app.

Voting will take place in two phases. During the first phase of voting from June 5-27, fans can submit up to five ballot submissions per email address during any 24-hour period.  The top overall vote getter in each League will automatically earn starting roster spots in their designated positions.  For the remaining positions, the top two players for each infield position and the designated hitter position, along with the top four players in the outfield positions, will remain on the ballot for the second phase of voting from June 30-July 3.

The 2024 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard will be held on Tuesday, July 16, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX.

OFFICIAL TEAM STORE AT BUSCH STADIUM

The Official Cardinals Team Store features the area’s best selection of premium Cardinals merchandise and is open daily from 10 AM – 6 PM.  The Team Store closes to the public during home games, 30 minutes prior to gates opening.  The Team Store will close approximately one hour after home games.  Visit cardinals.com/teamstore for more information.

BUSCH STADIUM PARKING

Fans can purchase individual game day parking directly from the Cardinals in the Starr Lot located directly across the street from Gate 2, on the southwest side of Busch Stadium.  Parking can be purchased at cardinals.com/parking.

BUSCH STADIUM BOX OFFICE

The Box Office is open on game days from 10 AM until 90 minutes after the scheduled game time.  On non-game days, the Box Office is open Monday – Friday from 10 AM – 5 PM.  Fans can inquire about tickets by calling 314-345-9000.

BUSCH STADIUM TOURS

Busch Stadium tours provide a unique look at the home of the Cardinals.  Explore areas of the ballpark that may not be regularly accessible during gameday operations.  Choose from two different tours: the Classic Tour (60 min) or the 360 Tour (30-45 min).  In addition, all Classic Tour tickets include admission to the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum. RE-ENTRY & SMOKING GATE

Once guests have entered Busch Stadium, they must proceed to either Gate 1 or Gate 4 to receive a hand stamp if they want to exit and re-enter the stadium.  Guests with a hand stamp and valid event ticket can re-enter the stadium at any gate until 90 minutes after scheduled first pitch.  All guests will have bags inspected and be screened via walk through metal detector upon re-entry.  A designated smoking area is set up at Gate 1 to allow guests access in and out of the stadium if they wish to smoke. The designated smoking area is open from gate opening until the end of the 7th inning.
