A success where alternative rock and a strong dose of motivation reign to take you on an infectious musical journey. From the first notes, you’re electrified, and you forget about the rest of your day, your problems, your daily routine. A cry from the heart and an anthem of liberation” – The Further

“Incredibly reminiscent of the alternative-rock from the aforementioned decades, skillfully blending metal, electro, pop, and industrial” – Substream Magazine

“Hitting the sweet spot between rock’s rabble-rousing aggression and alt-pop accessibility and addiction”

RATINOFF
Fuses a Lifetime of Experiences
with ’80s Alt-rock Energy on LET IT OUT

Out Today

AUGUST 6, 2021 (Los Angeles, CA) – SoCal-based alt-rock artist RATINOFF is releasing his debut album LET IT OUT today, September 17, 2021via CEN/The Orchard.

“It has been an amazing journey to get to this place,” says Ratinoff. “I have the great opportunity to share this album with everyone. My goal has been always to bring joy to everyone through my music and I want to thank all of the people who have believed in me along the way.”

Between the grooving malaise of “Another Day,” the smokey misfit atmosphere of “You Won’t,” the swaggering serrated blues drive of “Honey,” the noir, post-punky, Nick Cave-esque “Hot As Hell,” and the sweet baritone sock-hop ballad “Bye,” Let It Out spans the orbit of ’80s rock, from dancing in a glittery gym to crawling through the dark and menacing depths, and defines Ratinoff with a sound and vision all his own.

Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Wes Sharon (Parker Millsap, Turnpike Troubadours), Let It Out was a trial by fire for Ratinoff, one whose payoff far exceeded his own expectations. “That month I grew up as a musician, and a songwriter,” elaborates Ratinoff. “My feeling on it was that Wes was pushing to get the best out of me, and when I left Oklahoma, I felt that that had been accomplished. The making of the album was one of the best experiences I ever had… I found my voice.”

Once a budding Latin pop star with acting credits to his name, Ratinoff made waves with a pair of explosive early pop singles which amassed over half a million YouTube views. Feeling unfulfilled artistically, he took a leap of faith and changed direction from mainstream pop toward music that he enjoyed growing up… the music of ’80s and early ’90s like Joy Division, The Smiths, and Echo & the Bunnymen. On his new set of songs, he ignites a fresh sound independent of border and genre lines, fusing his life experience with retro alt-rock sounds and energy.
