ST. LOUIS, Mo., August 31, 2026 – The St. Louis Cardinals today announced details surrounding the 2026 Cardinals Hall of Fame Weekend presented by Edward Jones on September 11-13. The weekend will be highlighted by the 12th annual Cards Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony of Yadier Molina, Albert Pujols and the late Bill Sherdel, scheduled for 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, inside Busch Stadium as part of a special on-field pregame ceremony before the Cards-White Sox game.
Over a dozen Cards Hall of Famers are scheduled to take part in the Induction Ceremony including Ozzie Smith, Tony La Russa, Ted Simmons, Scott Rolen, Jim Edmonds, Chris Carpenter, Mark McGwire, Ray Lankford, Jason Isringhausen, John Tudor, José Oquendo, Matt Morris, Édgar Rentería, and Al Hrabosky.
A game ticket is required to attend the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony inside Busch Stadium. Busch Stadium gates will open one hour earlier at 3:15 PM to ensure fans are in their seats for the ceremony beginning at 5:00 PM. That day’s contest will be a free game on Cardinals.TV presented by bet365, so any fan with a MLB.com account can login and watch for free (no subscription required). Cardinals.TV will televise the full pregame ceremony as part of the broadcast.
The Cards Hall of Fame and Museum will feature a variety of programming on Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, including a special Flashback Friday conversation with Pujols and Molina hosted by Tom Ackerman in the Together Credit Union Plaza on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by the Maryville University Cardinals Hall of Fame Walk Plaque Presentation with the new inductees at 6:25 PM.
That same weekend, the team will host a 20-year anniversary reunion of the 2006 World Series championship team on Friday, September 11, presented by Heartland Coca-Cola.
Over 30 former players and coaches from the 2006 team, including National Baseball Hall of Famers Tony La Russa & Scott Rolen; Cardinals Hall of Famers Chris Carpenter, Jim Edmonds, Jason Isringhausen, Yadier Molina, José Oquendo, & Albert Pujols; World Series MVP David Eckstein, NLCS MVP Jeff Suppan, and more are scheduled to take part in a pregame Ford Truck motorcade around the warning track beginning at 6:35 PM before that evening’s 7:15 PM game.
In addition to those events, the organization will celebrate Cards Hall of Fame Weekend with gate giveaways on all three dates, Cardinals Conversations with David Eckstein, Jeff Suppan, Scott Spiezio & Brad Thompson presented by Edward Jones inside the ballpark on Friday at 4:00 PM (ticket required), and Saturday Signings with So Taguchi presented by Goodwill at the Cards Museum on Saturday from 11 AM-1 PM.
