Punk Rock Radar and Coffin Curse Records have teamed up to announce the first installment in their upcoming Tribute to Green Day series, a massive community driven release featuring performances from more than 50 bands across the punk and alternative spectrum.
The compilation brings together a stacked lineup including Audio Karate, Ballyhoo!, Krang, Rabies, and dozens more, each putting their own spin on songs from Green Day’s catalog. Built as both a discovery tool and a love letter to one of punk rock’s most influential bands, the release offers fans a chance to hear familiar tracks reimagined through 50+ different lenses while uncovering new favorites along the way.
The project is also rooted in giving back. Punk Rock Radar and Coffin Curse Records are committed to donating 100% of all proceeds to local no-kill animal shelters, supporting Young-Williams Animal Center in Knoxville, Tennessee and CARE of DC in Wappingers Falls, New York.
Pre-orders open Monday, March 2 at 12 PM EST. The first installment arrives as two volumes on double LP vinyl, with each color variant tuned to match the look and feel of Green Day’s most iconic albums.
