(New York, NY) — Long-running anarcho-punk disruptors Leftöver Crack are gearing up for a heavy year on the road, with an already-announced Fall tour across the Midwest and Texas alongside World’s Scariest Police Chases, followed by a newly confirmed East Coast New Year Tour with Pobreska. These runs mark one of the most active and creatively charged periods in the band’s modern history.

Leftöver Crack is currently in the studio recording new music, with a brand-new single set for release in early 2026—the first preview of their forthcoming full-length album Abandon The Precincts.
The band also continues to release reissues of their entire back catalog, excluding their 2001 debut Mediocre Generica, which remains on Hellcat/Epitaph. All upcoming releases and reissues will be issued through the band’s own imprint, Recidivist Bible Camp.
Leftöver Crack has both defied and defiled a long list of musical genres since their inception in the late 1990s. While visitors to NYC’s Alphabet City may faint at the sight of half a dozen large rats bum-rushing garbage bags on a crisp November night, the members of Leftöver Crack thrive in this environment—where pigeons dare, and where the spirit animals of latchkey kids smile upon every squirrel, rat, and mouse.
Far from being pigeonholed themselves, the band’s creation of the “Crack Rock Steady” genre isn’t the paint-by-numbers affair that many of the hundreds of CRS imitators make it seem. There’s a reason why most bands can pump out a record every two to four years with formulaic ska/punk efficiency—an efficiency that might even make the most humorless German rethink their perfectly balanced checkbook existence in exchange for a knock-knock joke book and an Apple TV subscription. Leftöver Crack is not one of those bands.
Their styles are innumerable, chaotic, and deliberately uncontained: anarcho-punk, ska, hardcore, crust, garage, thrash, doom, death metal, and more—all wrapped in grating crust-punk vocals delivered by a rotating cast across genders and orientations. Members have long resided at the infamous C-Squat near Tompkins Square Park on the Lower East Side, with a well-documented history of conflict with the NYPD that predates the band’s formation.
Still, Leftöver Crack marches on—forging ahead through adversity, adding to their legend, and remaining a menace to the status quo and its homogenized, atrophied machinery. Ahead lies the new full-length album Abandon the Precincts, to be released via Recidivist Bible Camp, alongside a documentary, autobiographies from Tibbie X and Stza Crack, an oral history of Choking Victim, and even Leftöver Crack action figures.
