Prime Directive formed in 2005 in Columbus, Ohio, with their first show taking place at the legendary Bernie’s Distillery. What began as a group of high school friends covering Misfits songs quickly evolved into something much bigger. After a brief hiatus, the band reformed in 2013, solidifying their lineup and refining their sound.

Over the years, Prime Directive has become a staple in the Columbus punk scene, known for their high-energy performances and their unique blend of punk, rock, metal, and pop influences. Their music is a mix of aggressive, fast-paced punk rock with catchy hooks and dark, horror-inspired lyrics that resonate with fans of both classic and modern punk.

Their upcoming release, “The Fallout,” showcases the band’s growth and versatility, blending nostalgic elements of old-school punk with fresh, contemporary sounds. The album captures the raw energy of their live performances and delivers it in a polished, powerful package.
