“The are the natural progeny of The Ramones and The Descendents. The Dollyrots walk that magical line between knife-sharpened irony and poodle-skirt nostalgia that few punk bands have or can. As they took the stage, their legacy was on full display” – Screamer Magazine
The Dollyrots are set to release their new album Night Owls on October 13 via Wicked Cool Records. For Night Owls, The band once again enlisted longtime collaborator John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Meet Me At the Altar) who is responsible for the bulk of production credit. The album can be pre-saved on all digital platforms at https://orcd.co/nightowls.
A new song with an accompanying lyric video from Night Owls is available now.

“As a band who writes songs about knowing how to party, we can honestly say we’re pretty good at it. But we also know testing limits means maybe you’re not so sure about your own. “When We’re Sober” isn’t an anti-drinking song, and it’s not a pro-drinking song. It’s more about acknowledging how easy it is to lose control of something when you aren’t aware of your own tendencies.” — says singer / bassist Kelly Ogden.
Pre-orders made directly from the band’s site will receive instant downloads of the songs “Night Owl” and “Hey Girl” and additional downloads that include demos and alternative versions that will be delivered in advance of the October 13th release date. The Dollyrots are also offering one-of-a-kind and limited items with Night Owls pre-orders that include stage gear, custom guitars, phone calls from the band, private acoustic house party performances, band wardrobe, lots of bundles, and more. Check it out at https://bit.ly/DRNightOwls .
Their songs have hit the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts multiple times and they’ve released albums on Panic Button/Lookout, Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records and are now part of Stevie Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records family. The partnership with Wicked Cool has also extended to the radio, where Kelly has held down the position of morning show DJ since 2019 on The Underground Garage, another Stevie Van Zandt creation. Join Kelly every weekday morning on Sirius/XM Channel 21.
