ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 2, 2023 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced seven additional Theme dates for the 2023 season, including three first-time events.
Boston Celtics superstar and St. Louis native Jayson Tatum will be at the ballpark for Jayson Tatum Night on Tuesday, August 1. Fans who purchase a special Theme Ticket will receive an exclusive Jayson Tatum bobblehead. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to The Jayson Tatum Foundation. VIP tickets that include a pregame meet-and-greet with Jayson, along with a pre-signed photo, are also available.
The Cardinals will host the first-ever Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Night on Monday, August 14. With the purchase of a special Theme Ticket, fans will take home an exclusive double bobblehead featuring Tommy Edman in a Team Korea uniform and Lars Nootbaar in a Team Japan uniform. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Very Asian Foundation.
Also new for 2023 is Book Club Night on Thursday, June 29, featuring New York Times bestselling author and #booktok star Emily Henry. With the purchase of a special Theme Ticket, fans will take home an exclusive t-shirt celebrating Henry’s new book and fans’ own “happy place”.
On Wednesday, August 30, the Cardinals will host KMOX Day. With the purchase of a special Theme Ticket, fans will take home a one-of-a-kind KMOX Cardinals glass stein, celebrating the all-time great Cardinals Hall of Fame broadcaster Jack Buck’s “That’s A Winner!” call.
The team has also set dates for perennial Theme events including Kids Day Out (Wednesday, June 14), Fredbird’s Garage Sale (Wednesday, August 16), and Career Day (Thursday, September 21).
