Cardinals Announce Special “Derby Deal” Ticket Offer

$15 Field Box Tickets for August 16-18 Series vs. Rockies On-Sale July 19; Tickets to be Discounted $5 For Every Round Albert Pujols Advances In Monday’s Home Run Derby

ST. LOUIS, Mo., July 15, 2022 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced a special “Derby Deal” ticket offer to celebrate Albert Pujols’ participation in the 2022 T-Mobile Home Run Derby. For every round the 11-time All-Star advances on Monday, fans can take $5 off specially-priced $15 Field Box tickets to watch the Cardinals take on the Colorado Rockies on August 16-18.

If Pujols advances to the semifinals, the tickets will be $10. If Pujols advances to the final round, tickets will be $5. And if Albert wins the Home Run Derby, the team will give away 5,555 free tickets for fans over the course of the three-game series versus Colorado.

A limited number of these specially-priced Pujols Derby Deal tickets will go on sale beginning Tuesday, July 19, at 10 AM CT. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting cardinals.com/derby or calling 314-345-9000.

This will be Pujols fifth career Home Run Derby showing, following appearances in 2003, 2007 and 2009 with St. Louis, as well as 2015 with the Los Angeles Angels. The 42-year-old Dominican Republic native becomes the oldest player to ever compete in the event and the sixth player ever to compete in the Derby at least five times, joining Ken Griffey Jr., Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, Prince Fielder, and Sammy Sosa. Pujols was topped in the finals in 2003 by Garret Anderson before semifinals exits in 2007, 2009 and 2015.
