About Leon Of Athens:
Greek American alt-pop star Leon of Athens channels a similar widescreen pop sensibility as Lauv and MARINA (who he has both supported live) alongside the flamboyant beauty of Sufjan Stevens.
His new single ‘Ripped Up T-Shirts” (ft. Wes Period) showcases just why he has become a big live draw across Europe & the US, where he has been confirmed to appear at major international festivals such as Bonnaroo, Primavera, Firefly, Summerfest, Shaky Knees & Okeechobee.
The upcoming EP follows his highly acclaimed album release “Xenos”, championed by the likes of The Guardian, NME, Q, New York Times and more.
Leon has also collaborated with critically- acclaimed alternative rockers Portugal. The Man, who remixed his song ‘Communication’, as well as Oscar-nominated Greek director Yiorgos Lanthimos who created a short film for ‘Baby Asteroid’.
