Cardinals to Host Vaccine Clinic at Busch Stadium on June 21 & 22

Individuals Who Get Their Vaccine at the Event will Receive Two Free Tickets to A 2021 Cardinals Home Game as Part of MLB’s League-Wide ”Vaccinate at the Plate” Initiative

ST. LOUIS, Mo., June 15, 2021 – The St. Louis Cardinals are once again partnering with the City of St. Louis to host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic inside the Cardinals Club at Busch Stadium from 9AM—4PM on Monday, June 21 and Tuesday, June 22.

Each individual who receives a vaccine at the event will receive two free tickets to a 2021 Cardinals home game.  Free parking will be offered in the Starr Lot located directly across the street from Gate 2, on the southwest side of Busch Stadium.  Individuals can also ride Metrolink to the Stadium Station downtown to be dropped off directly across the street from the ballpark.  Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available (must be 12 years old to receive a Pfizer vaccine).  Anyone under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian present.

“Partnering with the St. Louis Cardinals has helped the City of St. Louis Department of Health increase awareness on the importance of getting vaccinated to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities,” said Dr. Fredrick Echols, acting Director of Health for the City of St. Louis. “Getting vaccinated is a simple but powerful step people can take to protect their health and the health of our communities. Also, visiting Busch Stadium to get a COVID-19 vaccination and enjoy a game later this season knowing you have some protection is a great way to cheer on the Cardinals.”

Individuals are asked to register in advance for the clinic at cardinals.com/vaccine. Individuals must enter through Gate 2 (Home Plate) for the event.

This will be the second vaccination clinic the club has hosted in partnership with the City of St. Louis at Busch Stadium.  Over 700 people were vaccinated at Busch Stadium during the first vaccination clinic in May.  The vaccination program is part of a continuing effort by MLB, its Clubs and Players to provide assistance to those in need.
