Best of Last Week:
Excalibur #15: Arrako attacks and the X-Men stand between them and Earth. We also get the return of the Captain Britain Corps, but we don’t know what happens to the 616 Captain Britain yet. I really could do without this book, in the grand scheme of things.
Falcon & Winter Soldier #5: What a fun series. Twists and turns. New bad guys. Plus there was some good comedic moments, like the Order 66 declaration.
Shang-Chi #3: I haven’t read much Shang-Chi in the past, but I’m enjoying the book. Kung Fu, mystic houses, and zombies surprisingly make for a good combo.
Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #6: This builds off the last arc, but took a turn I wasn’t expecting. I’m thinking I’ll like this arc better then the last, especially since Sana Starros is back.
X of Swords: Destruction #1: The conclusion of X of Swords and it finished everything pretty nicely; this won’t be the end of the storyline though. For more on my thoughts on X of Swords, listen to this week’s PC Bombcast – out on Wednesday.
X-Men #15: Cyclops wants to back up the mutants on Otherworld, even it if means going against the Council. As they prepare, Apocalypse battles his wife. Solid book.
