_“With a new album coming out and 20 years of ‘Because I’m Awesome’ on the horizon,
we’re thrilled to play some new songs live for the very first time while celebrating
a record that means a ton to us and the fans. Making music now feels as urgent and
fresh for us as it did two decades ago, and this tour’s going to wrap it all up
in one big bow!”_ — **Kelly Ogden**

The upcoming tour will feature the first-ever live performances of songs from the
forthcoming album, alongside a special celebration of the **20th anniversary of**_**
Because I’m Awesome**_. Each show will feature songs from the fan-favorite album,
originally released March 13, 2007, giving audiences a chance to revisit the record
that cemented The Dollyrots’ place in the pop-punk landscape.

_“We originally wrote the title track to ‘Because I’m Awesome’ from a sarcastic
point of view, and after it came out, we realized it was being adopted as an anthem
of self-empowerment. Ever since then, we’ve embraced that feeling. It means so much
to us when people come up to us and tell us how that song and album has gotten them
through a challenging time. Even after 20 years, it’s humbling to have a record
that continues to resonate.”_ — **Luis Cabezas**
