MLB teams have begun making roster adjustments in preparation for the 2026-27 offseason. Following the regular season, organizations started recalling, activating, and removing players from their rosters to set their initial lists of prospective free agents.
Below is a dedicated list that tracks these free agents across all franchises, including both major and minor league players. Updated daily, the resource logs transactions, retirements, foreign league movements, and re-signings ahead of the official free agency period after the World Series.
While October baseball is in full swing for a few teams, most have already started planning for 2027. Starting September 28th, the teams that aren’t playing post-season ball started making minor transactions, including recalling players from their 40-man roster, activating players from the IL, and removing players from there roster.
As the off-season continues to build, I’ll be updating this list of every team’s free agents daily. Anything before Sept 28 has not been added, but might be once MLB free agency starts after the World Series is completed; for a full list of dates, click here.
