IBWAA SELECTS CARROLL, HENDERSON IN 2023 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR VOTE

IBWAA Members Voted for Rookies of the Year IBWAA

Nov 6 – The Internet Baseball Writers Association of America (IBWAA) announced the winners of the IBWAA Rookie of the Year Awards Monday: Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Gunnar Henderson of the Baltimore Orioles. This is the IBWAA’s 15th annual election for these awards. All IBWAA members were eligible to vote.

Election results are as follows:

American League:
1^st Place: Gunnar Henderson, Baltimore Orioles – 310 points
2^nd Place: Josh Jung, Texas Rangers – 94 points
3^rd Place: Triston Casas, Boston Red Sox – 91 points

National League:
1^st Place: Corbin Carroll, Arizona Diamondbacks – 309 points
2^nd Place: Kodai Senga, New York Mets – 127 points
3^rd Place: James Outman, Los Angeles Dodgers – 70 points

We strive to increase visibility, networking, and opportunities for all of our members. Voting for full-season awards takes place in September of each year, with selections announced in November.
