Formed through long-standing artistic friendships, the project blends cinematic visuals with collaborative songwriting. The debut track was produced by CWHK, mastered by William Faith, and features additional guitar work from The Wake’s Rich W. The group plans to continue developing its dual-vocal sound.

LOS TRES MORTALES emerges as a bold goth-rock collaboration, uniting members from Sunshine Blind and The Wake for a gun-slinging, propulsive debut. This new project features Caroline Blind and CWHK of Sunshine Blind alongside Troy Payne of The Wake, forging a dual-vocal romance that drives their charged sound.

Track Details and Creative Team

Bourbon blends CWHK’s hard-hitting rhythms and guitars with the interplay between Troy Payne and Caroline Blind, featuring a lead guitar break by Rich W. of The Wake. Caroline explains the dynamic: Bourbon represents a back-and-forth between two perspectives, a tension that comes from multiple voices rather than a single viewpoint.

Rich W. of The Wake contributes a lead guitar break, adding depth to the arrangement, while Tintin collaborates on the accompanying video to push the concept into seedy, barroom imagery and dramatic, night-city visuals.

About Los Tres Mortales

Los Tres Mortales is built around a network of friendships and collaborations spanning Sunshine Blind’s original run and subsequent projects. Caroline Blind continued making music with members of The Wake, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Faith and the Muse, The Sisters of Mercy, Sweet Ermengarde, Children on Stun, Switchblade Symphony, and more. Her longstanding friendship with The Wake ultimately brought Troy Payne into the fold.

For the video, Sunshine Blind / Caroline Blind collaborator Tintin steers the concept, infusing the song with cinematic, booze-led storytelling and moody atmospherics.
