“The band’s music is intense—Medina’s quickfire vocal delivery reminiscent of X-Ray Spex’s Poly Styrene but with elements of rockabilly queen Wanda Jackson. Throw in some Dead Kennedys, The Bags and a dab of Social Distortion and you have a band with one foot in the traditional while creating something entirely new.” – Music Connection

Los Angeles, CA – LA based punk band Stormhouse has announced signing with LA based indie label Wiretap Records. To celebrate the signing the band has released their first offering on the roster, a track named “Crashing Waves” which is out everywhere today on all platforms. The track will appear on the bands upcoming untitled EP out in October.

The band says, “Crashing Waves” really dives into the emotional chaos of dealing with someone who just couldn’t figure out their feelings or communicate properly. Their thoughts would overwhelm them, like crashing waves, pulling them away from the relationship. Instead of getting caught up in their indecision, we wanted to channel that experience into a message of reclaiming strength and focusing on self-care. Stormhouse is honored to be a part of Wiretap Records! We’ve been on a few compilations and we’re excited to take our music journey to the next level with y’all.”
