ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 9, 2024 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced that St. Louis native and chart-topping music producer, Metro Boomin, will perform in the Together Credit Union Plaza at Ballpark Village as part of the club’s Metro Boomin Theme Night on Monday, May 20.
Metro’s visit to Busch Stadium will also coincide with the launch of the Cardinals’ Nike City Connect Jerseys that same day.
To celebrate both the unveiling of the team’s new on-field look and the worldwide success of one of St. Louis’ very own, the club will host a set of performances and pregame entertainment, including a brief performance by Metro Boomin, on the outdoor Air National Guard Stage. The performances are free and open to the public and are scheduled to begin at approximately 4:30PM. First pitch for that night’s game against Baltimore is scheduled for 6:45 PM.
Renowned for his unparalleled talent and groundbreaking contributions, MB stands as the undisputed best producer of this generation. His recently released joint albums with long-time collaborator and hip-hop artist Future, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, both debuted at No. 1 within three weeks of each other on the Billboard 200.
With the purchase of a special Theme Ticket, fans will take home an exclusive MB bobblehead. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to Rung for Women, which offers comprehensive support services for women in St. Louis. Metro Boomin Night Theme Tickets are available now at cardinals.com/metroboomin.
