Cardinals Salary Matrix – 2024 Edition
The 2024 St. Louis Cardinals Salary Matrix is now live.
With the offseason in full swing, here is the 2024 Cardinals Salary Matrix. I’ve left 2023 on their for now, but there aren’t buyouts to pay from unexercised options. I have the projected arbitration salaries from MLB Trade Rumors for those going through the arbitration process. I’ve also added as many of the pre-arbitration numbers as possible; those without a full year service time could be wrong, but I’ll update those as I get clarification.
Also note the second tab, which has contract details; things like option details, bonuses, no trade clauses, etc. I’ll update this constantly when more contract details come out.
Bolded players are on the 40-man roster. This currently reflects the salary for Lance Lynn, but the deal isn’t official yet and he’s not on the 40-man yet.

11/29/2023 – Added Sonny Gray and Kyle Gibson, along with the updated details on their contracts. As of right now, the Cardinals have 39 of 40 spots used on their roster and approximately $33M left to spend this off-season, pending any trades.
11/20/2023 – Added Lance Lynn, Buddy Kennedy, Adam Kloffenstein, Riley O’Brien, Pedro Pages, Sem Robberse, and Jared Young. Removed future salaries for Dakota Hudson, Andrew Knizner, Packy Naughton, Wilking Rodriguez, Connor Thomas, and Jake Woodford.
