Legendary basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Chicken meets Major League Baseball beginning on March 30 with the opening of its newest location at Busch Stadium in thanks to the brand’s partnership with Delaware North Sportservice.

Home of the 11-time World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals, Busch Stadium frequently welcomes enthusiastic crowds of baseball fanatics who will soon experience BIG flavor, BIG food and BIG fun. The new stadium location features an originally crafted menu item unique to the city of St. Louis in partnership with local artisanal doughnut shop, Vincent Van Doughnut.
Appropriately named the “314” after the St. Louis area code, the sandwich is comprised of the brand’s Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken with Shaq Sauce, and served on a Cardinal Red Maple Bacon doughnut. Additional offerings at the stadium include the M.D.E. (Shaq Sauce, chicken breast and B&B Pickles) and the Uncle Jerome (Nashville Hot Chicken, lettuce, mayo and pickles), along with fries and a cookie the circumference of an NBA basketball.
Big Chicken concession stands will be located in section 135, along the first base line of the main concourse, and in section 358, on the third base side of the terrace level.

The second location in Missouri, Big Chicken in Busch Stadium will join the brand’s first-ever airport location at Kansas City International Airport, where the restaurant’s high-quality offerings satisfy the cravings of travelers from across the globe.

MISSION TACO JOINT TO SERVE INSIDE BUSCH STADIUM THIS SPRING
The West Coast-style taco concept will now occupy the concession stand in Section 150 behind home plate
(ST LOUIS, MO; March 21, 2023) – Mission Taco Joint (multiple locations) announces today that the West Coast-style taco restaurant concept will be a new local food partner inside of Busch Stadium for the upcoming season. Mission Taco Joint will serve a selection of their fan-favorite tacos as well as additional ballpark exclusive offerings. The Mission Taco Joint concession will be located in Section 150, right behind home plate.
With six locations across St. Louis and Kansas City as well as a concession area at Enterprise Center, the Mission Taco Joint team will work closely with Busch Stadium’s hospitality partner, Delaware North, to highlight the concept’s bold, yet approachable takes on Mexi-Cali fare.
Owners Jason and Adam Tilford explain, “Busch Stadium and the Cardinals are synonymous with St. Louis so it’s a proud moment for Mission Taco Joint to have a presence there. Our team will be heavily involved in operations of our concession area, and we’re excited to see Cardinals fans in the stands enjoying our MTJ tacos, street corn, and more.”
For the menu, guests can enjoy takes on MTJ signature tacos like the Mango Shrimp on a flour tortilla with fried shrimp, habanero aioli, cabbage, and mango salsa or the Vegan Soft Taco on a flour tortilla with vegan ground “beef,” taco sauce, lettuce, pico de gallo, and vegan cheese. Busch Stadium exclusive tacos include: the “Hot Corner” Chicken on a flour tortilla with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, celery seed ranch, lettuce, and pickled onion or the Regular Taco with crispy tortilla, ground beef and bean, taco sauce, lettuce, pico de gallo, and queso fresco.
Mission Taco Joint’s fan favorite Street Corn, corn on the cob, garlic aioli, queso fresco, and tajin,will also be available. In the spirit of not taking themselves too seriously, Mission Taco Joint will also offer a reimagined indulgent ballpark dish of West Coast Nachos with chile-crusted fries, queso, crema, pico de gallo, and pickled jalapeños.
