The Star Wars: The Clone Wars Viewing Order
The Clone Wars should be essential viewing for any Star Wars fan; it fleshes out a lot of characters from the prequel trilogy and fills in some of the plot holes. Unfortunately, there are issues with the series.
While the first few seasons are a little slow, part of the reason there are issues was some episodes were released out of order. If you watch them in the order below, some of the plot points make a lot more sense.

There was a planned seventh season of the show, but it was never finished due to Disney acquiring LucasFilm. Some of the arcs have story boards, while others have been adapted in other mediums.

The Dark Disciple novel is worth checking out, as it completes the story of Ventress Asajj and gives the spotlight to Jedi Knight Quinlan Vos. It’s gets a little dark, but is a good book. The Son of Dathomir is a solid read as well; it’s the last Dark Horse Star Wars series and the only one that is still considered canon.
Once completing this, Rebels is next in the viewing order and, fortunately, it’s all been in order so far.
