The guys start out talking a little TV. They discuss the McGuyver reboot, the potential Lethal Weapon show, and the return of Ducktales.
They move onto movies that were based on video games. Toner leads off with his love of Max Payne. They also touch on Super Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and Doom. They also talk about which games shouldn’t be translated to film, like Uncharted, and what would make a good movie, like Halo.
Sticking with movies, the guys look at movies from childhood that need to be remade. Sound Guy Steve starts out with Flight of the Navigator; others mentioned were Monster Squad, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Big, and the Wizard among others.
They review Furious 7, American Sniper, the Fault in our Stars, and You’re Next…while they look at SG Steve’s Twitter feed and who he follows.
The guys then talk about pyramid sales scams, like weight loss products and make up, the weirdest thing witnessed in Vegas, and talk about Andy F’s impending child.
This is all done while commenting on the Rams’ game.
