As many expected, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler will not play this Sunday, as he hasn’t been cleared of the concussion he sustained last weekend.
Cutler has been working out in helmet and pads during the week, but the Bears won’t risk it.
The Bears allowed 9 first half sacks on Cutler this past Sunday against the New York Giants; the final sack was the blow that pushed Cutler out. He’s not mentioned with Kevin Kolb and Matt Moore as QBs who have missed a week after a concussion.
Todd Collins will be under center for the Bears; this will be his first start in over 3 years.
